Hello everyone,

When it comes to moisturizer, it has always been between Nivea and Ponds for me. Off late though, Nivea Soft Light Moisturizer has been my go-to product. But when its new variants hit the market i.e., Chilled Mint, Berry Blossom, Peppy Pomegranate and Playful Peach, the thought of trying at least one out was quite tempting. So, here I am, finally buying, using and today reviewing Nivea Soft Berry Blossom for you all. Wanna know more about the product? Then keep reading below friends ....

My Review

Packaging wise, Nivea Soft Berry Blossom Light Moisturizer looks fabulous. I absolutely loved the contrasting color combinations of pink (over its body) and white color (on the cap) with dark blue highlights (mostly printed information). The picture of beautiful small berries printed on the tub totally accentuates its look.

One look at the white cap of the plastic tub and you see 'Nivea Soft' and 'Get party ready with Berry Blossom' written on it. When you turn and open this plastic cap, there is a silver foil seal inside it. As soon as you tear this seal halfway, the fragrance of berries immediately hits your nose. This fruity, cherry-like smell is fabulous. I immensely loved it. Likewise, the white-colored cream inside it has a smooth, soft and as mentioned by the brand - light texture. This consistency is perfect, that is - it is neither runny nor thick.
I have a combination, dry skin type. During winters though, my skin tilts towards the drier side. So, I usually use this moisturising cream by taking a little of it and dabbing a couple of dots all over my cleansed face. I then massage it gently in circular motions. This cream gets absorbed into the skin within a minute and does not require efforts or thorough massaging - which is a big plus.

Fortunately, Nivea Soft Berry Blossom Moisturizing Cream moisturizes and hydrates my skin very well and does not make it look oily or sticky. My skin in fact looks well-nourished, supple and soft for nearly the entire day and without needing to reapply the cream again. Thankfully, there have been no breakouts till now. Besides using it as a face moisturizer, I also apply Nivea cream on my hands (particularly the back of my palms). Needless to say, it works for me.

My Ratings:

I would go with 4.5 / 5. It is hydrating, pocket-friendly and smells amazing. Definitely recommending it to everyone - especially normal, combination and dry skinned people. However, if you have very dry and/or flaky skin, then go for the deeply moisturizing and original All-purpose Nivea Creme.
