Deyga Hair Growth Oil

Hello dearies,

Are you by any chance suffering from hair fall, dandruff, or wishing that you grow healthy, shiny, and long hair? Or have you landed up on my blog after searching 'best hair growth oil in India'? If you are nodding on any of these points, then today's Deyga Hair Growth Oil review is definitely for you.

Before starting this review, I must confess here that I do not follow an elaborate hair care routine. I usually stick to hair oil champi once a week and follow it up by shampooing and conditioning my hair. Apart from trying out homemade hair packs once in a while, off late, I have been introduced to store-bought hair masks. I use it occasionally, whenever I feel like pampering myself.

However, a hair oil massage is a must for me. This traditional haircare ritual that most Indians follow since childhood is known to have many benefits. Regular hair oil massage improves blood circulation in the scalp, strengthens hair roots, nourishes hair, reduces frizz, and promotes healthy hair growth. And when Deyga kindly sent me their best-selling Hair Growth Oil, I was very very curious yet excited to try it out.

PS: Deyga also sent me their Aloe Vera Gel (an amazingly versatile product - that I have recently reviewed. You can read it here)

Now after nearly a month's use, I am sharing with you'll in detail about this product and my experience with it.

My Experience

The bottle of Deyga Hair Growth Oil that I received is a 100 ml one. This hair oil comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a tight cap and a plastic stopper inside it to prevent leakage. Here, I would like to appreciate Deyga Organics for providing the hair root applicator along with this product. It is really very convenient to use.

This bottle of hair growth oil is quite lightweight and can be easily carried in your handbag (if you intend to take it along on travel). The oil itself is dark reddish in color and gives out a kind of herbal fragrance. However, I could prominently smell a mixture of coconut oil and curry leaves in it. This smell is not overpowering but not very mild either.

Now if you have used ayurvedic hair oils, you might know how heavy and greasy they are. Yes. Deyga Hair Oil is oily (it is supposed to be so). But surprisingly, despite containing castor oil as one of its main ingredients, it isn't very heavy or sticky

Again, not much oil is needed for use. Whenever I want to apply this oil, I fix the hair root applicator on the bottle and tilt it and squeeze it near the roots of my hair. The oil oozes evenly from the toothed ends of the comb applicator. I then massage my scalp for a couple of minutes, while taking care to oil the length and ends of my hair too.

As suggested by Deyga, oiling your hair and keeping it overnight give the best results. However, I keep my hair oiled for at least 3 hours before a head bath (as it is convenient for me). Also, when I first used this product, I felt like it would be difficult to remove all the oil from my hair. But surprisingly it was not the case.

I shampoo my medium-length hair twice after oiling and in these two washes, I could easily get rid of all the oily traces from my hair. Also, post air-drying, my scalp felt lighter and my hair much softer and manageable (I could feel that softness in between my fingers). I honestly love the way my hair feels since last month.

As for hair growth - I have used this oil once a week in the last 30 days. So, I am not really able to tell its efficacy in such a short time. But seeing the ingredients in the hair growth oil - especially hibiscus, fenugreek, castor oil, false daisy (bhringraj) and thiripala, I am sure it will soon help grow my hair strong and healthy. Again, the results differ from individual to individual. You might be fortunate to see hair growth within a month if you use it religiously, twice a week.

By the way, Deyga Hair Growth Oil comes in two sizes - 100ml and 200ml. I received a 100ml bottle of this hair growth oil which costs Rs. 600/- (slightly expensive compared to other hair oils in the market) - BUT it is worth the price. Also, Deyga gives regular discounts on their products, so you can buy them at a lesser rate.

Deyga Hair Growth Oil is a toxin-free, chemical-free & preservative-free natural hair growth oil that is suitable for all hair types and only available on their website (buy it here). So do try it out at least once.

My Ratings

I am giving Deyga Hair Growth Oil a 4.7 / 5 due to its quality and usefulness. I am genuinely impressed by its hair growth stimulating ingredients, the way it made my hair so soft in just a month, and the potential it has to grow my hair on consistent use. So, yes, it is on my repurchase list once this bottle finishes. Would I recommend it? DEFINITELY!
