Hello everyone,
Around two months back, I was shopping at Lulu Mall when a bright blue tube instantly caught my eye. It was Vicco Turmeric Face Wash. Honestly, the color is what made me stop. After all, you don't really see blue-colored face wash tubes very often, right?
Another thing that surprised me was the brand. I have always known Vicco for its turmeric face cream and toothpaste, so seeing a Vicco face wash felt a bit unexpected. In fact, I didn't even know the brand made face washes. Out of curiosity, and trust in the brand, I decided to buy their turmeric face wash and try it.

My Review
As can be seen in the pictures above, Vicco Turmeric Face Wash comes in a simple plastic tube packaging. The tube is opaque and is in bright blue shade, which honestly is what first caught my attention at the store. The blue and white combination of the tube gives it a fresh, clean look and makes it stand out from the usual yellow or orange turmeric-based products.
The tube has a flip-open cap at the bottom that shuts tightly, so there is no leakage. The packaging overall feels lightweight, travel friendly and easy to use, since you can control how much product you dispense.
On the front of the tube, the product name Vicco Turmeric Face Wash is clearly printed, along with a small image of a woman splashing water on her face. Right below the image, it mentions Fights Acne & Pimples and Healthy & Clear Skin. Towards the bottom of the tube, three words are highlighted: GENTLE, NATURAL, VEGAN. From the overall design, it feels like the focus is clearly on acne and natural skincare.
The back of the tube includes all the standard information such as description about the product, ingredient list, usage directions, storage instructions, caution and the usual manufacturing and contact details.
Coming to the actual product, Vicco Turmeric Face Wash has a smooth and creamy texture. It is neither thick nor runny and spreads easily on the skin. The colour of the face wash is yellowish-brown, almost like a light-yellow ochre shade, with a slight shine to it. As for the fragrance, it didn't exactly smell like turmeric to me. Thankfully, it is pleasant and mild, which I liked.
When I mixed a coin-sized amount of Vicco Turmeric Face Wash in my palms with a few drops of water and rubbed it gently, I was surprised because there was almost no foam and very little lather. At that point, I was honestly a little skeptical about whether it would cleanse properly. Still, I went ahead and applied it to my face. After massaging it well and rinsing it off, my skin looked clean and felt fresh. I also noticed a slight cooling sensation while using it, which felt quite nice.
What impressed me more is that this wasn’t just a one-time effect. Even after using it daily for around 10 days, it still gave me that same clean, cool, and fresh feel without making my skin tight. I genuinely thought it might dry out my skin since this face wash is advertised for acne-prone and oily skin types, which my skin is not.
