Starting this separate section of revealing beauty secrets from the oh so lovely celebs that we totally adore and go gaga over.
And guess whom did I get the honor of quizzing? Well, its non other than 'Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya' actress Saadhika Randhawa.

Having worked predominantly in Bollywood, Punjabi, Bhojpuri and Telugu film industry, this glamorous actress subsequently made her mark in television, through her noted roles in 'Hamari Bahu Tulsi' and 'Shobha Somnath Ki'. This year Saadhika was seen in bhajan samrat Anup Jalota's movie 'Satya Sai Baba'.

Now a decade after her very active movie career, Saadhika continues to win hearts through her carefully chosen movies and Instagram posts, which she has kept as real as it gets. Sometimes I wonder how this beautiful actress manages to look fit and youthful and simply refuses to age beyond 25.

Well in a quick and exclusive Q & A session, Saadhika spilled the beans about her beauty secrets and a bit more. Read on to know them....

First things first, Saadhika, what would you say is your definition of beauty?

Well, I don't prescribe to any conventional or standard definition of beauty. So, for me being beautiful is to be comfortable in your own skin, being happy with who you are and how you look. So ya...inner beauty and happiness is definitely more essential. It kind of reflects outwardly.

Could you tell us a bit about your skincare routine?

That is a good question, because I certainly follow a routine.

My skincare rules are pretty basic - which is to drink enough water, get adequate sleep and to do some form of physical exercise every day. Also, I am very conscious towards eating healthy, avoiding junk or fried food and stay calm and stress free as much as possible.

During the COVID pandemic however, I missed out on going to the gym which disturbed my routine a bit. But I am glad that places have opened up now and I can go to the gym again because I really enjoy doing my regular workouts.

Besides that, I am very particular about keeping my skin clean and removing any traces of makeup before going to bed.

Can you tell us a beauty tip that you swear by?

One thing that I cannot stop stressing about is drinking a lot of water. Water not only detoxifies the body and hydrates it but also adds a healthy glow to your skin. So yes, consuming water is definitely high up on my list for good health and skin.

Here I would also add that being happy internally without any particular reason and loving everyone without expectations is something that I totally believe in. I strongly feel that when you are happy from inside, it kind of shows on your skin.

One beauty advice you have got from your mom?

Honestly, like all moms, my mother too was a great supporter of home remedies. She would always tell me to use less cosmetics, more natural products and homemade masks that can be easily whipped up from kitchen ingredients.

In fact malai (milk cream) and rose water are my go-to ingredients. These skin-friendly items can be used in making a variety of face packs and they work wonderfully well in nourishing the skin.

Saadhika who is your beauty icon and why?

For me its Rekhaji. I strongly believe that it is because of her dedication towards yoga and healthy lifestyle, she still looks much younger than her age. Definitely a beauty icon I look up to.

I know you have just launched your own YouTube channel. So what can your fans expect to watch on 'Saadhika Randhawa Channel'?

All my fans hold a special place in my heart. And I consider myself fortunate that as an actress I have been able to work in so many different languages and have fans across the country and abroad.

Through my YouTube channel I hope to connect at a more personal level, by sharing glimpses of my daily life so that my fans can know the real me. While my team will guide me on the video concepts, I will give it my own touch.

Before concluding, I would like to congratulate you on deservingly winning the Most Gorgeous Actress in Bollywood at the 4th Annual Cinema AajTak Achiever's Award last year. What does winning that coveted award mean to you?

Well, I have always considered the love and support of my fans as my biggest achievement but winning that award was special. The media and my fans have always described me as "beautiful and gorgeous" so winning the award was like a cherry on the cake.

She concludes by adding that God has been very kind with his blessings on her and she is surely one of his favorite child.

Here, I take the opportunity to thank Saadhika for being extremely gracious in answering these questions. Also seeing her simplicity and positivity towards life, I suddenly remember Audrey Hepburn's quote - which says, 'happy girls are the prettiest'. Definitely something she reflects.
